Clayton to Philadelphia Trail, Rivergate Continuation

Red ArrowBack to index page

Info: Quite an easy trail for everyone. To the south the trail continues on for many miles.

To the north of the parking area the trail crosses the road and then a short distance later comes to a long, private driveway. The rest of the trail in this direction is POSTED with No Trespassing signs.

This trail is built on the same railroad bed as the Route 37 Trail - Rivergate Trail and does connect up with that one, though there is POSTED (No Trespassing) property in between.

Directions: Take Route 12 (Bradley Street Road) north out of Watertown. Follow the road for approximately 20.7 miles until you find the right hand turn for the East Line Road. This is nearly to the village of Clayton and nearly to the Clayton Arena. Travel on the East Line Road for about 2 miles and take a left right onto Black Creek Road. Follow this road for 1.3 miles and then take the first left hand turn. A few hundred feet down will be a parking area and a trail sign.
