Info: Built and maintained by Brookfield Power.  Ruins of old papermill near beginning of the trail (for more pics of the ruins go to this page), the picnic area is built inside where one of the ruins is. A few picnic tables; one covered, trash can nearby.  Dam can be seen at end of the trail.

Directions/Location: From Watertown take Route 3 to Black River, at the light turn left onto Main Street.  Before the bridge look for a hidden road called St. Regis Street - Private Way, and also there is a Brown Kamargo Recreation sign).  Note - this road and the trail IS open to the public.

Coordinates/Waypoint(s):  N 44 00.603, W 75 47.621 (44.010050,-75.793683) -  Beginning of trail/parking lot.

Date/Time Open: Dawn to Dusk all year.

Mountain Biking Allowed: Yes

Hiking/Walking Allowed: Yes 

Cross-Country Skiing: ?

Fishing: Yes.

Pets Allowed: Yes.

Built on Former Railroad Bed: No.

Special Instructions: Watch for lots of Poison Ivy, swift currents in some places.  Canoe access also available.
